Principal's Welcome

Stella Maris College, a Catholic independent school founded by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan in 1931, offers an outstanding education for girls - with a diverse and flexible curriculum to meet the needs of the twenty-first century learner.
Our professional teaching staff and developing campus facilities ensure that Stella girls are challenged to be original, creative and collaborative learners in our exciting educational environment.
Our Benedictine values of compassion, peace, justice, hospitality, community and stewardship offer balance - found in prayer and work (ora et labora).  We use 21st century technology yet challenge 21st century values – mindful of the necessity to have respect for the dignity of each person and to inspire a reverence for God’s creation.

The college is strongly committed to pastoral care - striving to ensure that the girls are provided with both learning support and extension to achieve their personal best. Our comprehensive curriculum and wide range of extra curricular activities challenge every student to achieve.

This website will

give you a glimpse of our beautiful campus nestled beside Manly beach and the lagoon,

invite you to appreciate our Good Samaritan heritage,

allow you to see our engaged students, dedicated staff and committed parents working together, and,

give you some idea of the range of opportunities available to Stella girls through gifted and talented programs, performing arts groups and sport.

Stella Maris College is building on its past and reaching for the future. I invite you to consider the wonderful possibilities for your daughter as a Stella Girl.
