As Principal of Stella Maris I welcome all who visit our web site. Stella Maris College, an independent Catholic Girls' School was founded by the Good Samaritan Sisters in the Benedictine tradition. Stella Maris is one of ten schools in Australia that is a 'School of Good Samaritan Education'.
Located in Manly, on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Stella Maris has an established reputation for having an innovative, flexible and diverse curriculum.
At Stella Maris we pride ourselves on the care and development of young women, who through living the Benedictine values will contribute to making a significant and positive difference to our world. All that we do is based on our values: compassion, justice, peace, hospitality and wise stewardship.
We seek to create a community where compassion and justice are at the heart of everything we do; where learning is ongoing and valued; where we work with 21st century technology yet challenge 21st century values; where individuals are able to develop a balance in their lives; an environment welcoming to all; and a place where care for the earth provides a sustainable aspect of our existence.
Stella Maris is a family, our girls are proud and happy to be known as "Stella Girls". We have a strong and warm community and like to stay connected. Our weekly newsletter online and the College Portal are important methods of communication for our community.
